Sh. Om Parkash Nohrewale

Mr. Arun Rahul Garg

Mr. Om Parkash Nohrewala is a prominent businessman of Nabha who is well known for his philanthropic approach to the citizens of Nabha.  

He has been the President of the Rotary club and has been forthcoming in supporting financially as also morally for any social work which pertains to the upliftment of poor. 

His nephew Arun Rahul Garg s/o Sh. Satinder Garg and grand son of Late Sh. Baldev Krishan Nohrewala who is residing at Netherland has not only shown interest but has whole heartedly supported to the cause of upliftment of poor. 

Mr. Arun is doing business in IT components at Netherland. 



1. Maj Adarsh Pratap Singh 

He is a great grand son of BHAI KHAN SINGH NABHA a known educationist cum scholar of India, had his schooling from Bishop Cotton Shimla. Maj AP Singh joined NDA and was commissioned into Artillery Regiment in Dec 65.

Due to family commitments he took Pre Mature Retirement and settled at Nabha. Maj. AP Singh took keen interest in all social Activities and development of Nabha. He is a member of the Board of Governor of Nasha Foundation and is Founder President of community Development Foundation Nabha. He is also the patron of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Rachna Vichar Manch (Regd.) Founder Chairman of CDF.

2. Maj. Gen. Sureshwar Tewari 

He is from the first batch of students of The Punjab Public School Nabha. He joined NDA in 1965 and was commissioned into the Dogra Regiment in Dec. 1968 from the Army Training command Shimla in Dec. 2005.

After retirement he settled down in his house town Nabha to serve the society. He initially worked with SEWA BHARTI NABHA and there after assisted Maj. AP singh in establishing the Community Development Foundation. He is the founder executive Chairman of the CDF.

3. Maj. RS Sandhu

An eminent Personality of Nabha who served in the Army also a NCC officer. A great educationist and social worker. He is the founder Member of AMAL Society and his been its President for the last 21 years. His contribution to Resident of Town is in the form of Providing Oxygen Cylinder to Nabha by converting the barren piece of Land into total Greenery of HIRKIANA Aloharan Gate Nabha. A dedicated worker of and a pillar of Nabha in the field of social work. Founder Member of Command I...... Foundation and Senior citizen welfare Association .

4. Mr. Amarjeet Verma

A great educationist who retired as Principal of Govt. Senior Secondary school. A Physics Post Graduated Honours and MED from the Punjabi University whose citizen have risen to high appointment in every field.

After retirement he took on to establishing and Forming Senior Citizen Welfare Associations at Nabha. He Started with no resources and within a Span of few years a full Hedged Building and a Library has come into being. There are 300 active members of this Association. He is also the Senior Vice President of the AMAL society. Mr. Amarjeet a quiet and sincere worker is the back bone of the Community Development Foundation. He is also the adviser to the Federation of Sen. citizens association Punjab. He is the founder President of this Association. He is the Gen. Sec. and Founder Member of CDF Nabha.

5. Mr. Suraj Bham Singla Baujee

A Fatherly figure of Nabha town who is known for his philanthropic approach to any social cause concerning to the people of Nabha. A well known Industrialist cum social worker. He is the President/Patron of number of NGO'S in Nabha. An asset to the people of Nabha. He is also the President of Punjab Gao Shala Protection Committee.

6. Mr. Om Prakash Jindal

He is a well known industrialist, businessman cum social worker of Nabha. He is always in the forefront of any social, religious, cultural activities taking place in Nabha. A great administrator who has single handed established two schools of repute in Nabha. Has assisted the NGOs of Nabha financially and morally. He in an asset to the CDF and Nabha.

7. Mrs. Krishna Batra

She was born in NWFP (Pakistan) and did her post graduation in sociology from Lucknow. She is wife of Late Dr. Batra an eye surgeon.

Mrs. Batra is a multi talented lady, she is the keen sportsman with hobbies like cooking, painting, gardening and story writing. Her stories appear in Sarita Magazine under the name of RASHMI. She goes out of her way to help needy people and is all out for women empowerment and an active member of Senior Citizens Welfare Association. She also established the ladies club of Nabha in 1971. An assets to the city of Nabha.

8. Mr. Jeevan Bansal

He is a prominent businessman of Nabha who has always helped other NGOs in their performance monetarily and morally. He is the President of SAHARA Group Nabha who has provided financial cum material assistance to the needy. He is an Founder member of the CDF.

9. Mr. Rakesh Sharma

He is a well known personality of Nabha who is associated with almost every social, religious cum cultural activity in Nabha. An excellent administrative who has assisted in running, educational Institute. He is also an active member of Gaushala and has provided assistance in all form in the functioning of the institute. An asset to Nabha. He is also the Founder Member of CDF.

10. Mr. Jain Kumar Jain

A prominent social worker of Nabha. He is actively involved in all religious functions in Nabha. He has been the President of Jain Sabha and has helped in establishing the knitting schools for the needy girl students. He is philanthropist in his approach to his life and active member of CDF.

11. S. Santokh Singh

A prominent Industrialist who is totally dedicated to the upliftment of the people of Nabha in general and Nabha township in particular. He is the MD of Hira Agro Industries. Has also taken keen interest in the education of the needy girls students. An asset to the people of Nabha.

12. Mr. RS Dhingra

On retirement as Director Fishery Department from Punjab Government Mr. Dhingra took on to social work. He is the President of Sewa Bharti Distt. Patiala. He has annually organised the Blood Donation Camp on behalf of Mian Wali Community. He has specialised in Yoga and helped many persons from over coming/curing from medical ailments. He selfless person who is always available for any kind of social work.

13. Mr. S. K. Dua

Mr. SK Dua retired from Glaxo Smith and Kline as Gen. Manager and there after involved himself actively in social work. He is one of the Founder Members of CDF. His contribution in establishing of the foundation will always be remember. Due personal and health ground he is now living quiet life.

14. Dr. Rajwant Singh

He is a prominent Physician of Nabha, who had his schooling from Bishop Cotton School Shimla. After serving in the Govt. hospital, he established his own clinic cum hospital in Nabha. A very sincere human being who has voluntarily provided his services to the poor at no cost. He is also physician to the students of Punjab Public School Nabha. His active support and ideas has helped in organizing number of events for the foundation.

15. Mrs. Sarupa Singla

A teacher by Profession who took active task in development of Nabha. She has been the elected President of Municipal Committe. A Lady with multifact talent has actively participated in Social cause for betterment of life of ladies in Nabha, while being member of Women Cell, She has also the member of Distt. Greevances Committee Patiala. active member of CDF.

16. Mrs. Harjinder Kaur

She is a homely lady who took into teaching Profession at an early age. She has always been forthcoming to the cause of women empowerment. At present she is a Prof. in Rayat Bahara Group of Institute Patiala. She has actively participated to social cause in any form in Nabha.

17. Maj. T.S. Mankoo

After doing graduation from The Punjabi University joined the Army. He was commissioned into the JAT regiment.

Maj. T.S. Manku took the mature retirement and decided to serve the community. He Voluntarily worked with various NGOs and finally in 2006 joined The Nabha Foundation as Manager. He selflessly worked for this organisation and gave a firm foot to the Foundation. He is an active member of Community Development Foundation Nabha.

18. S. Surinder Bir Singh Sethi

He is an educationist who is well known in Nabha for his selfless service to the cause of humanity. On retirement as Deputy Director (college) he took on to assist needy students in their education. A very popular unassuming Prof. who is respected for his simplicity and vast ocean of knowledge. He has been the editor of Lion Magazine of the Lion clubs ever since its inceptions and has earned name and fame throughout India for its content.

19. Mr. Rajesh Bansal

He is a respectable and well known figure of Nabha and an industrialist and also a realtor. He is politically well connected and has always been forth coming to any social which is for the betterment of Nabha.

20. Mr. Jaspal Juneja

An Advocate by profession who is now a leading Industrialist, Bussinessman and Politician. he has been the President of Rotary Club and has always been forth coming to the Social need of needy people of Nabha. he is the President of Mianwalo Community and has organised blood camp every year.

21. S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa

He is a self man full of energy with multifaceted personality. In addition to his job with LIC he represent The Present Youth of Punjab. He actively participated and organized the Nabha Mela ( social cum cultural event), Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Rachna Vichar Manch ( Regd.) at Nabha. an active member of CDF.

22. Mr. Raj Kumar Chopra

A Bussiness man of repute who has always come forward to the Social need of the people of Nabha . An active member of the Rotary Club and CDF.

23. S. Malkit Singh

An eminent personality of Nabha, MD of Malkit Agro Industries has taken keen interest in all social activities of the town. An active member of the Foundation.

24. S. Avtar Singh

He is a self made man who has a humble background. After doing his JBT in 1969 joined SD high school as Teacher. There after in 1975 became regular Govt. teacher. During his service he did his post graduation in Punjabi and Political Science. His dedications to the profession earned him the Sate and National Award for the Best Teacher in the year 1998 and 2002 respectively. He was also honoured with Bhartia Siksha Gold medal in Delhi. He retired from the post of BPEO in 2010. After retirement he has contributed to the social cause and is active member of AMAL Society Senior Citizen Welfare Association and Community Development Foundation Nabha.

25. Mr. Ajit Singh Khaira

A mature vetram who after retirement took on to agriculture and reality bissiness. Prominent citizen of Nabha who has always held the hand of any NGO working towards the betterment of life/ Education of Poor people. ctive member of Amal society.

26. Mr. Bhagwan Das Bagai

He is a dedicated, sincere and quiet personality who is behind the screen of all prominent NGOs of Nabha. After retirement from education department of Punjab Govt. He devoted himself to the betterment of mankind. An active member of Sewa Bharti, Bharti Parishad and Vivekanad Foundation. He is an asset to the NGOs of Nabha.

27. Mr. Surinder Kumar

An Agriculture Technocrat by profession who is presently working with Department of Agriculture, Punjab under ATMA scheme as Block Technology Manager, Nabha. He is having keen interest in social & environmental conservation activities. He is also associated with THE NABHA FOUNDATION, for Sustainable Agriculture Development Project (SAP). Under this project Organic Farming is promoted in Nabha Block. A group of 200 farmers is formed that is NABHA ORGANIC FARMERS GROUP, adopting organic farming in Nabha block. He is also founder of Youth Agro-green Organization (YAGO) a NGO working with rural youth for their skill development.
